BIOGRAhy
OSAM is a French-Palestinian composer, producer, and Oud player and multi-instrumentalist who creates intense, poetic, and deeply embodied electronic music. Trained on the oud yet freed from traditional frameworks, he reshapes the instrument into a raw, percussive, almost synthetic material, blending it with shifting electronic textures, organic rhythms, and visceral writing.
For this new artistic cycle, OSAM collaborates closely with producer Charlie Trimbur, whose sensitivity to hybrid textures enriches the project’s sonic world. He also works with Canblaster, a prominent figure in the French electronic scene.
His influences range from the radical freedom of Björk to the luminous dramaturgy of Son Lux, the introspective intensity of Radiohead, the cinematic tension of Woodkid, and the granular warmth of reinvented Middle Eastern sounds.
On stage, OSAM offers an immersive and physical experience that borders on the ritualistic, where light, shadow, breath, and electronic impulses interact with the resonances of the oud. His new single Mars, accompanied by a self-directed music video, paves the way for an EP and a full album planned for 2026, a body of work that blurs the boundaries between electronic music, Mediterranean heritage, and inner resistance poetry.
